Many a Redwoods to be found in California. I happen to be about 15 minutes from these 2 places. Above Samual P. Tayler St. Park has a very nice forest and camp grounds. Often take a friend or group here to get close to nature and have a great time and of course the dogs love it.
Below is Muir woods as you see here Redwoods also and lots of ferns which always are liking it under the shade of the big trees. Just up the road from here is Mt. Tamaipias which is a fabulous view of all the bay area. I have spent nights up the where I could watch the sunset over the Pacific and turn to see the skyline lights of SanFrancisco. One of my very favorite places. I'll work on a page of views from there in the near future.
